George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli are still in negotiations, leaving the door open for other possibilities before the new regulations kick in. Despite Max Verstappen being a preferred choice for Wolff, signing him for next season seems unlikely. The team principal wants to make a decision between the Hungarian GP in early August and the Dutch GP four weeks later, emphasizing the need to respect all parties involved. The process is expected to be concluded by the summer break, with Wolff hinting at a decision possibly coming midway through the break.
